Meet the Founder - Taurean Merriweather
A Chicago born native, Taurean is an emerging professional in the field Architecture . An alumnus of Tuskegee University, he received his Bachelor of Architecture from the Taylor School of Architecture and Construction Science (TSACS) in 2016 and matriculated through the University of Florida to obtain a Masters in Historic Preservation (MHP). This trajectory has led to his pursuit of different opportunities regarding architecture and preservation to include building documentation, condition assessment, Secretary of the Interior Standard (SOIS) Treatment recommendations, rehabilitation of spaces through existing and adaptive-reuse, and new and innovative design & construction. Viewing the field of architecture as one of public stewardship and preservation as a machine of activism has become the foundation of Taurean’s goals. Ultimately, he continues to network and connect with those in architecture that have the passion to preserve history, manage change within the built environment, promote activism through design, and engage citizens to build and strengthen community.

Our mission at TJM3 is to provide the public with exceptional services that exceed their expectations. From Architectural Design, Drafting, and Building Documentation, we are committed to delivering high-quality products and cost-effective solutions which follow the Standards of Care for the profession. At TJM3, we merge architecture with historic preservation, implementing healthy built environments with a rich historic fabric, to promote equity and balance for new and existing residents. It is our belief that architecture and preservation is synonymous with activism.
